The Anti Military Interference Movement (1990)
On May 1995, President Lee Teng-hui appointed the Minister of National Defense Hau Pei-tsun as premier, thus raising fears of military rule. Later, the demonstration of the Anti Military Interference Movement was held in Taipei, with Changhua people as part of its protesters. However, with the assistance of the KMT legislators, Hau still won the approval of the Legislative Yuan and became the new Premier.
