Let the Blacklisted Home Movement and the New Nation Movement (1988-1990)

Changhua residents stand up to KMT's Blacklist policy and support the overseas Taiwanese dissidents who could not return home due to their political stances. When the pro-independence activists Huang hua and Cheng Nan-jung organized the New Nation Movement in 1988, people from Changhua were often seen in its speaking tour or demonstrations around Taiwan. In 1990, they became enthusiastic protesters once again for Huang, who was sent to prison for the fourth time then.
